Hello!

I'm riding Marocco and looking for permaculture places and people to connect them.

The project is making a caravan and exchange contacts, tips, seeds, etc.

I'm already connected with some permacultors in the desert near Zagora/Tagounite and I'd like to connect other places with that one.

Please let me know some contacts, if possible in the surroundings of Ouarzazate and in the direction of agadir.

It's great to see cultural projects underway in my favourite holiday destination. Last year I went to Casablanca on a tour with the Berber Family. I loved the desert dune starlight nights on our tour at www.berbertreasure.com.au but it's great to see some agriculture flourish in the county. Tasting their great cuisine is one thing, understanding the whole process is something quite different. Those pictures taken of Morocco of the crop fields and distant lands has a touch of mystery and landscape unlike anything in the flat desert plains of Australia.

A promising project indeed. Yet as a local, i think it is such a toll order as to gwow palm trees with a marketable and competetive crop in Ait Attab. Almand and olive trees, along with livestock, used to be a good source of income for the local population. One sould think instead of sustainable ways for producing fodder for indoor cattle-breeding, and restoring almand and olive orchards.
