Thank you Kat for your advice. Yes indeed, I was putting the extra “.” at the end of the address, but successfully sent my opinion message finally. And now I’m going to use Facebook to let as many of my Auzzie friends as I can know that if they want to voice their opinon they only have 1 month to do it.
Let’s see how much support can be drummed up within 1 month, shall we?

The public needs to be aware of GMO foods so they can make their own decisions about whether to consume them or not!

I sent a test email to the address and it didn’t bounce or returrn an error. Did you accidentally include the final “.” after au?

The address should be FoodLabellingReview@health.gov.au
not FoodLabellingReview@health.gov.au.

Thanks for this great post to spread the news about the labelling review. However, the address posted here creates a “missing or incorrect recipient” error message. Any other info you could supply to help people post directly to the government dept?
