Please note that the fieldstonee has two e's.
We are going to be in Prague on December 11th, 2006 and would like to visit your facility.
We are also plan to visit Peklo, (Karolinthal),Liberecky Kraj, Cz. where our Krause family emigrated from in the 1800's.
In 1977 we purchased the farm, 140 acres and a empty rock barn. I have said that I purchased the barn and they threw in the farm. We converted the barn into a home and moved into the home in 1983
In 1993, after 43 years, I retired from the dental supply business.
In 1993 our vineyard, 5.5 acres was destroyed by a herbicide spray from the highway and we are converted the vineyard, into to a high density planting. Every other ten foot row, is a Apple or Asian Pear trees, and the middle row is Blackberries. In our west section we also have 2.2 acres of Asparagus, plus Tart Cherry trees, and pecans.
Four years ago we changed the venture into a U pick, or you pick, operations. We use golf carts to transport the families into the orchard. We are now refered to as "Family entertainment"
Best regards, Ken & Nancy Krause, 7049 East 149th, Overbrook, Kansas

Jeez; I'm surprized to find this spell about us on this server! Thanks! -I hope you don't mind updating the 4 year old text above with the new we recently added to the site ;o)

As to the pond: Scene is not good. The article you read was from 2003. The initial technical designer left in mid-process before coming with a good solution for a sedimantation area and due to local politics we have not been able to improve it more. There's little water inflow during summer months (when no extreme rainfall) and subsequently it's getting filled with alge growth from the bottom. It does however make up for a nice swim until end of June, and works well as a natural habitat: Even a black adder living in it the past few years! -And millions of frogs! Officially it's a fire pond and it does work well as such...
